Christina Jane Aitken

In January 2009 burglars entered the property of Sandy and Judy Fairservice at 46 Tankerville Road, Christchurch New Zealand. Among many other things, they stole a gold and pearl brooch that belonged to Sandy's grandmother, Christina Jane Aitken. It has great sentimental value.
The brooch is inscribed with her name. Unfortunately, no photograph of this item exists, so a description will have to do.
The brooch centres on a gold shepherd's crook surrounding a pearl-inlaid cross. This centrepiece is suspended by two fine gold chains hanging from a bar, and connecting with a similar bar at the bottom. It is about 100 mm by 50 mm.

If anyone has seen this item they should contact me and the police. It is stolen property.
