An opportunity to invest in five areas of ministry

Opportunities for serving God abound, and we are ready and able, but we have financial needs. So as you may be considering your giving to God's work at this time of the year, we would appreciate your prayerfully considering giving to us and to the work God has given us to do.

Christchurch Urban Community
Over the past few years, we have been raising up professional men and women who will become lifetime labourers in the harvest field. There is a constant need to reach honest seekers of God in New Zealand and bring them to Christ. We have a small, hard core of people who are reaching out with increasing skill with the gospel. A few people have come to Christ.
Based on the latest census statistics, we believe about two million New Zealanders are seeking or ready to seek God. We believe that if we are to make fast progress, we must start with those seekers.

Asia Legacy Project
This is a research and writing project that aims to document the way God led the founders of the Asia works. The intention is that we learn from the past, as Psalm 78 outlines. The project will take a lot of time, leaving Sandy with no opportunity to earn extra to help our income. So far, Sandy is donating his time and writing skills. Although travel costs have been met, there is always extra, personal cost. There is no doubt that this project is God's work for Sandy at this time. The project, consisting of 20 chapters is soon to be completed, with Sandy's having writtenm18 of the 20 chapters.

Teaching
In 2006 Sandy taught discipleship at the Cebu Evangelical Theological College of the Philippines for two weeks. This year, he taught the same material, with a European slant, to the Kost congregation of the Evangelical Free Church of America near Minneapolis-St Paul, USA.

Other writing
Several small-book and booklet projects are envisaged for 2008.

New Zealand Navigator Communications
Logan Keating in 2004 asked Sandy to relinquish most of this work, in favour of giving it to a younger team. Sandy continues, however, to maintain the Navigator website and does some discrete communications.

Our monthly income has improved in recent years but is not enough to cope with today's ministry outgoings and other needs.

Any amount, such as $50 - $100 or more a month, would be a help to us. If a one-off gift is your style, we will be grateful for anything you can invest.

May the Lord bless and lead you as you consider this opportunity to invest in his work.

Sandy and Judy
